fitting the 212 to my monster moto 80 frame. I know ive posted a few times but you guys have been super helpful and here i am needing some more advice.. quick recap. decided on predator 212 swap. ordered mounting plate and new 3/4 12t clutch (35mm, as to use existing chain) Harbor freight is out of 212 engine for another week, so ive got some time.
What size bolt is supposed to be used to hold the clutch on? I thought that it was 5/16x24, but on a brand new engine, the bolt just barely gets started, then stops. Torquing it back on is where u will need something to hold the shaft. I used an old torque conventer pully half.
